It is normal for women to keep diaries. even some men have picked up the habit and Im not refering to gay men only. Dayly or weekly we write down little pictures about our life. It used to be private hobby kept behind locks and bolts. Nowadays it has become the more public the better - aka Internet blogs. What is it that makes us hide behind the mysterious name and talk about our private life so everybody could see, hear and judge?
Is it becouse we are too laz to write our friends emails and we just send them the blog link or is it pride and freedom of speach that has driven us so far we want to tell about everything to every body?
a little something to think about.... last days I havent been up to much...day time do DNS stuff or nothing...evening time stay up till 2 am and talk with C. I will not reveal this person quite yet..... But thats my only explanation fo looking so tired every morning.
We are supposed to hitch hike to CPH tomoro im not quite sure yet if Im up for it... It can be fun, It also can be pain in the arse. we where invited for a Divali - Indian new years eve...sounds fun although I dont even have clean clothes to wear and Indians dress up very pretty as far as I av seen.... I Should go and but my clothes in the wash then....

Kristin,
If youl look at the many blogs out there, you will see that all of them are very different. One side is of course the private life, but there are also watchblogs and lawblogs or specific blogs, which walk more in the direction of Citizen Generated Media. For some it is a combination of everything. For me the appeal about blogging lies in the connectivity: The simple fact, that a message, be it political or private has the potential to spread out to millions of readers in no time. That is mainly due to the fact, that blogs link each other all the time. This means, that weblogs can become a powerful tool to influence public opinion (and very damaging as well). For me it is the combination of all these things, that make blogging so interesting.
