eeevil little me

As ve arrived to Amaritsar and stepped off the train I couldnt be more fed up with India then right this moment when I layed eyes on thenormally wilthy trainstation, people shouting, offering me rikshas, hotels, taxis, god knows what. Somebody get me out oh here, I pleadedmentally or hide me in a sound tight spotless clean box for few days -I need a break. When we reached the hostel - this too was not muchmore then I dared to expect. I got to admit at the moment we layeddown our bags I was ready to burst into tears. My team mates haddecided though to go for dinner and then maybe to see the goldentemple. To but my mind of things I decided to tag a long. We haddinner at some pizza place, well if you can call it pizza, which wasdecorated like christmas. Thanks to the good mood of my team mates Itoo started to lighten up.Strait after dinner some of us headed for the golden temple. The nightwas cool. As we reached in front of the protective wall we could notsee much. Someone instructed to give away our shoes, cover our headsand wash our feet. Done that we where free to enter. The stone floorwas pleaantly cold under my feet as I glanced up I saw something shining in the darkness in the middle of the water. My mouth fellopen, I could not believe what I was seeing - the golden temple, shining like it was made out of direct sunrays in the middle of vastfield of water. I couldn't turn my eyes off it, I must have been standing and staring for only some few moments, which ye seemed like eternity. Carefully, not to loose the temple from sight as it might dissapear in some magical way, I walked down the stairs and started to make my way around the big water to reach the bridge the would take me to the temple, trembeling inside - I was not quite sure if they would let me enter. To my suprise nobody payed much attention to me so I could appreciate every moment with out any disturbance. I dont know how long it took to reach the temple. I could only see where I wanted to reach, everything else blurred by my side. The temple was quite crowded as I made my way through and climbed up a flight of stairs, found also the first floor crowded I climbed up another flight of stairs and there I was on the roof of the golden temple on top of the source of the sunrays I saw before.I glanced down between the top golden towers. My eyes where truly resting on the so still water surface far down and everywhere around. I had found my soundless sterile clean box in India without even noticing the constatnt singing in the microphones in and around the temple, people walking, talking and prayng. None of this did not really even accord to me before it was time to leave. I did not want to go but my team mates where waiting so I made my fast goodbyes and left. We returned next morning. But with the sunrise the magical feeling of the night plaace hadvanished.Today we spent the hole morning wondering about in the temple and tryng to find out more about it and the religion related to it.

hmh my typical luck of getting the computer which suddenly every one need to use...yeah wateva am not gonna complain more.......almost forgot, one dude here told us its only gonna take max of 10 hours to get to Daramshala from here by direct bus - 10 hours for 200 km!!!! due to some himalayan hills or something :P
Now I really need to get back to the fab hotel as that is the only place where for sure I know there is toilet paper(coz we left it in our room). need to fint one of those motor rikshas...am not quite sure hoe long more can hold.
